Rebecca J. Lawson is an associate attorney in the Estates and Trusts Group at Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Charney LLP, where she assists in a wide variety of estate planning and tax-related issues. Ms. Lawson obtained her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006, where she focused her research and studies on taxation and trusts and estates. During law school, she served as an Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review and on the executive board of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. Ms. Lawson obtained her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of California at Riverside in 2003, where she participated in the UC Washington Center program and interned on Capitol Hill. Ms. Lawson is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Section; the La Jolla Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section; and the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust & Estates and Taxation Sections.
