Philip J. Sullivan is a Partner in the Estates and Trusts Group of Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Charney LLP. Mr. Sullivan’s practice involves the representation of clients in estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate, estate and gift tax audits, and charitable planning.

Mr. Sullivan is admitted to practice law in California and Pennsylvania. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Villanova University Law School in 1988, and his Masters in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1995. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University in 1985, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Mr. Sullivan is a Member of the San Diego County Bar Association (Estate Planning and Probate Section), the La Jolla Probate Section, and the State Bar of California. He is a frequent lecturer on estate and trust topics, and he is an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the California Western School of Law and the University of San Diego School of Law.

Prior to joining Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Charney in 2008, Mr. Sullivan was a Partner in the Family Wealth and Exempt Organizations Practice Group at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP.
