The Family Law Group at Henderson, Caverly & Pum LLP, with partners Richard V. Richard V. Hyatt, CFLS, AAML is an experienced and respected family law litigator and mediator. As a Certified Family Law Specialist and a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, he is ranked in the top tier of his profession.  Richard has an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating and has been recognized as a San Diego “Super Lawyer” every year since 2009; and featured in San Diego Magazine’s, “Top Lawyers of San Diego.” Acting as a Judge Pro Tempore since 1988, and Settlement Conference Judge since 1989, he has the experience to negotiate and resolve all levels of issues in family matters. Legal expertise is critical to achieving settlement in complex financial and parenting issues that comply with California Law.

Adryenn M. Cantor, CFLS, AAML has practiced in all areas of family law throughout the state of California for the past 35 years.  In 1985, she became a Certified Specialist in Family Law and has been recertified for the past 30 years; and she is a Fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Adryenn is the past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the California State Bar, has an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating and has been recognized as a San Diego “Super Lawyer” every year since 2009; Los Angeles Magazine’s “Top Attorneys in Southern California”; and featured in San Diego Magazine’s, “Shaping San Diego” and “Top Lawyers of San Diego.” She acts as a Settlement Conference Judge in Family Law, for the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego.  She also works with couples and individual clients to foster non-litigated marital dissolutions using both “collaborative” and “cooperative” divorce procedures; and since 1982, she has continuously provided professional private mediation for all types of family law issues.

Hildy L. Fentin, CFLS, AAML has built a local and national reputation for excellence, integrity and professionalism, with over 35 years of experience handling complex Family Law matters. She graduated from Rutgers School of Law in 1980 and then gained admittance to the bars of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and California. A former Legal Aid attorney in the San Francisco area, Hildy has focused exclusively on Family Law since 1983. Hildy’s approach focuses on creative problem solving to reach peaceful resolutions. Her process empowers you to make informed decisions about your finances and your family.

Sandra L. Mayberry, CFLS, AAML has practiced Family Law for more than 21 years and has been a Certified Specialist in Family Law, the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization for more than 15 years. Ms. Mayberry handles all aspects of family law litigation, including complex child custody and financial issues.  She also consults with parties completing the mediation process with private mediators so they may obtain the best outcome possible.  She is trained in Collaborative Law.  She regularly handles matters assigned to Private Judges at JAMs, Judicate West or other private judging groups. Ms. Mayberry’s practice encompasses: pre-marital and post-marital agreements; dissolutions; all custody issues including custody evaluations and move-away cases; spousal support; child support; property division; paternity; post-judgment modifications; and litigating all family law matters, including very high asset cases.

Raelynn E. Stattner, CFLS has practiced family law in San Diego for more than 8 years.  Prior to joining Henderson, Caverly, & Pum, LLP. Ms. Stattner had been a family law associate for Partner Sandra L. Mayberry for more than 6 years.  She has devoted her practice solely to family law matters, including pre-marital agreements, complex custody issues and move-away cases, property division, including high-asset and high-income earner cases, child and spousal support issues, paternity cases and post-judgment modification matters.  Prior to practicing family law, she earned her juris doctor from California Western School of Law where she graduated in the top 12% of her class.  She also earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Arizona University in 2007. Ms. Stattner is a member of the California State Bar Association and San Diego County Bar Association, Family Law Section.
