Eric Baggett is a partner in the Estates and Trusts Group at Henderson, Caverly & Pum LLP, where he assists clients in estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and a variety of tax related matters.
Mr. Baggett received his LL.M. in Taxation in 2012 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was awarded a Graduate Law Merit Scholarship. Mr. Baggett received his law degree in 2007 from the University of San Diego School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2004 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Mr. Baggett is a certified specialist in Taxation Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He also holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) awarded by the CFP Board.
Mr. Baggett is a member of the California State Bar Association, Taxation and Estate Planning, Trust, Probate Sections; the San Diego County Bar Association, Taxation and Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Sections; the North County Estate Planning Council; and the Estate Planning Council of San Diego. Mr. Baggett also Chairs the Young Tax Lawyers Committee of the California State Bar and is Vice-Chair of the Taxation Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Henderson, Caverly & Pum LLP in 2011, Mr. Baggett was a tax, trusts, and estates associate at a boutique trusts and estates law firm in San Diego.
