Gwendolyn Andrey is an associate in the Estates and Trusts Group at Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Trytten LLP. Ms. Andrey’s practice is focused primarily on estate and wealth transfer planning and estate and trust administration. Ms. Andrey has a particular interest in planning and administering estates for collectors of fine art.
Ms. Andrey received her law degree in 1992 from the University of Chicago Law School and her bachelor’s degree, with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, in American Culture from Northwestern University in 1989. Ms. Andrey is admitted to practice law in California and Illinois.
Ms. Andrey is a member of the California Lawyers Association, Trusts and Estates Section; the San Diego County Bar Association, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section; and the American Bar Association, Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section.
Prior to joining Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Trytten LLP, Ms. Andrey was a trusts and estate associate with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal in Chicago and Los Angeles. Before Sonnenschein, Ms. Andrey worked as an associate for McDermott, Will & Emery in their Chicago office. Ms. Andrey also spent time as a stay-at-home parent before returning to the practice of law.
